This weekend we went up to Leavenworth with the Ratchfords. It is a little town in the middle of the Cascades that was a logging community until the 1960s. Then the logging industry dried up and the town transformed itself into a Bavarian village.

The first morning that we were there we found a cool swimming spot with a sandy beach, the weather was perfect and we all enjoyed some sun.

That afternoon we all went tubing down the Wenatchee river, the water was much warmer than the rivers in Utah and it was a blast, even Al got into the action with his own tube. Filipe and I couldn't see Cole or Mir most of the trip but could hear them laughing the whole time.

The kids couldn't get enough of the river, we went back to the swimming spot the Sunday morning before heading home.

Cole and Mir are so great together, they were laughing and goofing around the entire trip.
We all had a super fun and relaxing weekend. We loved being with the Ratchfords, they are always fun to be with, love you guys!!
