Happy 39th Birthday to the most patient Dad and funnest Grandpa. My family is on their way to San Diego today to see Max fly in from his deployment and this morning while I was thinking of how crazy it must be there with everyone trying to get on the road it reminded me of all the family trips that we used to take and how much my dad had to do for them. Not only was he up most, if not all, of the night before packing all of our stuff but he was also the one driving us there and then unloading it for us too! He always made sure that all of the skis, water toys, camping gear, golf clubs, or what ever else we needed was always in the car and ready to go when we were. I can't even imagine trying to get the 8 of us (mom, I am including you) ready to go anywhere, but for every ski lesson, snowmobiling adventure, trip to Bear Lake or the cabin we always knew all of our stuff would be in the truck for us.
Dad, you really are the best, I love you so much and appreciate all you do for me and my family more and more. Happy Birthday!
