Garreth saved our lives and made the 3 hour trip to help us on Saturday - he is the best friend we could ask for and we really couldn't have done it without him. We are living in a temporary rental house for the next few months, I would post a picture but everyone would make a mad dash up here to stay in the luxury! Not really, it is pretty bad, but is close to my office and the ferry and has a fenced yard for Al, which he loves.
Our weekend couldn't have been more hectic, but we are glad it is over and we are slowly unpacking boxes, settling it and trying not to remind each other that we will be doing it all over again in a few more months.

I know how you feel, it's great to move, but sad too! When do you find out the gender of your baby? Just so you know, my vote is BOY:)
Moving really sucks. I'm glad you're getting settled in.
I love you guys to bits, but I'm hiring another immigrant (besides me) to move those pots next time. (oops I hope I didn't just let your family know about all the pot plants that you guys have...it's like little Kingston, Jamaica there, Mrs. Marley....sheesh. Oh, I mean "potted" plants. It does my heart good to see you guys getting that much closer to where you wanna be and your new crib. Moving is stressful huh, take it from a pro, I'm proud of you guys, there was no real violence and I only heard about 5 swear words all day (and those were from Mir !). Catch ya on da next U-Haul yo....

What cute digs you guys have! or had. Whatever. Now I'm worried because I just mailed your Christmas card to the Daylily address today. Oops. Hopefully it'll forward over to your new place. Can't wait to see where you end up - moving sounds so exciting. But isn't all that bending over a bit miserable for you Jo? Be careful!
