More Pictures

Thank goodness I got Filipe a new phone for his birthday so he could keep everyone updated on the happenings of the past few days and update the blog so regularly. He is doing a great job taking care of me and the baby and always has his phone for a quick picture or video.

I am feeling great, Little Nico is also doing well - he is a great baby, is nursing like a rockstar and only cries when he is naked. Things couldn't have gone better with his delivery and everything is going well at home so far. Here are some of my most favorite pictures from the past few days. Thanks for everyones nice comments, phone calls and emails. I can't wait for him to meet everyone in person - he is just too precious!

Miranda was planning on being with us at the hospital for the birth, but was at a sleepover on the night he decided to come so Filipe went and got her on Saturday afternoon. He took this picture of her holding Nico for the first time at the hospital, man we have gorgeous kids!!

3 days old asleep on my lap. This baby has not spent on second in his bassinet or crib yet. He is being held 24/7 by one of us, we just can't stand to put him down.

With dad and his furry brother, the animals aren't sure what to think of him. Every time he squeaks or cries they all come over to investigate.
This is from this morning, he is opening his eyes more often now and trying to look around at stuff. He doesn't really focus on anything but I still expect him to smile back at me while I am talking to him. We just love him so much and are so thankful he is here and is so healthy. We are so excited to see how his little personality develops and are looking forward to watching him grow, but at the same time we are trying to savor every second that he is so tiny and small, we know they grow up to fast and he will be 14 before we know it.
