Nico's First Visitors

Thursday morning my parents and Mikah were on the first ferry over from Seattle and came to stay with us for the weekend. It was so exciting to share our little boy with them. They were awesome, my mom bathed Nico every morning, made us dinner every night and made me feel a little more confident in this whole newborn thing. Mikah was our official dish doer and Filipe and I were both surprised at how great he was with the baby, I forget how much practice he has had. My dad has a hard time being "on vacation", the man cannot sit still - he quickly became Al's best buddy and took him on countless walks around the loop and down to the water each day. He also loved little Nico and they were able to catch some Zs together on the sofa.

Right after his morning bath, he hates being naked and screams the whole time, but quickly settles down when he is dressed and being held again. Lola is an expert when it comes to bathes, she is so patient and Nico smelled so good when he was all done.

Mikah is the best uncle ever, he is great with little babies, not to mention his cooking and dish doing skills!!

Saturday the weather was nice enough that we decided to head over to Seattle for a little while. Mikah was nice enough to walk up to Old Navy with Mir for ten dollar swimsuits and one dollar flip flops and the rest of us walked to the cheese store for some San Jorge cheese and then to Pikes for some fresh produce and mini donuts.

Nico wore his Lola and Grandpa out, we are so thankful for them. They are both so busy but drop everything to come up and help us out for a few days. We love you guys so much and will always remember our fun weekend. Thanks so much for everything!!!! xoxoxoxo
