Once again, it has been way too long since I posted anything, here is a little catch up of what we have been up to. The middle of April one of our favorite comedians came to Seattle and we decided to take advantage of being able to go before Little Guy gets here. Mir and I took the ferry and picked Filipe up from the office, we went to a great place for dinner and had a really good time at the show.

We are really liking the new house and are getting pretty settled in. Being so far out of town has been a huge adjustment for us, we miss being able to walk everywhere but love not being able to see any neighbors and having privacy. Al loves the huge yard and all the trees and bushes he gets to run around in. We have 3 deer that live nearby, a huge
blue jay nest and lots of woodpeckers and other wildlife that we see.

I took this picture as a joke when
Filipe was just beginning a little honey do project of installing lights in the kids rooms, but after 2 days and 3 trips to
Lowes, this is really how he was feeling about the situation. Let's just say it is a good thing I didn't marry him for his handyman skills.

For the first time in our married life, we have a big yard - we had to buy a lawnmower!! It keeps
Filipe (and sometimes Mir, but we have to pay her) busy on the weekends. I just realized it kind of looks like he is hugging this tree, but he is trimming off a branch. He thinks a chainsaw is in the future soon.

Finally, Miranda! She has been very busy - made the JV
Cheerleading team for high school next year, got a little babysitting job on the weekends and has been so good to me during my last part of being
preggo. She offers to make dinner and is a great helper around the house. Tonight she had a Culture Fair at her school. The assignment was to pick out a person you are related to and write a research paper on them, make a presentation board and then present it for the school at the fair. Mir chose my dad and did a fabulous job. She is just like her Aunt Lexie when it comes to projects, she stresses about it for weeks and then pulls it together and outdoes herself
everytime.
Filipe and I were both so proud of her, she spent many hours on the project and her Grandpa will be very proud when he sees the final project.

Here is the final board, up for display at the culture fair.
