Yesterday Nicolas turned 12 weeks! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by and how much he has changed since we brought him home. He is so incredibly cute, he smiles all the time and is a pretty good little guy most of the time. He sleeps almost 12 hours at night only waking up to quickly eat and then goes right back to sleep. He still doesn't like to lay down by himself for naps or at night so he sleeps in between Filipe and I at night and during the day he naps on my shoulder, I am getting really good at doing things with one hand. He looks around all the time and seems to be studying the world around him, he likes his toys and will smile and talk to them. We love watching him learn new things and it is amazing to see him change and grow so quickly.
He really, really, really loves his mom - I love rocking him to sleep while he is on my shoulder and having him smile at me and talk to me while he is eating - melts my heart every time!!
Nico has also decided that daddy is sort of fun to hang out with too, you haven't had a story read to you until you hear Filipe's version of it and his songs aren't too bad either. He likes Filipe's goofy sound effects and the voices his toys take on when dad has them.
Here he is working the camera, he is so dang cute - I could take pictures all day long!
He loves, loves, loves going for walks everyday, even when it is pouring outside.

so cute. They grow so quick. Mir was such a great help this week, you are lucky to have her. I could tell she missed you guys alot. Little nico is adorable and we are counting down the days till we meet him and see you guys.

Oh snap! My little baby is getting so big! Seriously- The picture in the orange diaper he looks like a giant! Can't believe it! Oh and that is way rude to put the backpack on Al... You know how much he hates it!

He is SUCH a doll Jo! Sounds like he is going to be totally spoiled - I mean,still sleeping in your bed? Man, as much as I loved snuggling babies at night, they got the boot after a week.
Mostly it tells me how much you guys are enjoying him & trying to soak up every minute with him. Nothing wrong with that! Miss you~!
