Well, our very long awaited trip to Utah is behind us and we had a BLAST! I love going home and seeing everyone. I cry every time I have to say goodbye but I have great memories that bring a smile to my face everyday. Here are only some of the pics from our trip, more to follow in a few days. There are tons of pictures, but we had so much fun I couldn't help myself in posting a lot!
Nico spent most of the evening before we left in his Bumbo while we packed, he is pretty good at sitting up in it and this morning when I had him in it he could reach out and play with the toy a little.
We took the ferry over to Seattle on Saturday morning.....
and dropped Al off, he stayed with Chris, Mercedes & little Marlowe while we were gone.
Then we had the wait at the airport, I am just like my dad when I travel - I rush, rush, rush to get there and then just have to wait, but Nico was good - he loved watching all the people.
He slept most of the airplane ride but woke up in time for the bumpy decent into Salt Lake.

We got into Cache Valley around 11pm and Mir surprised us and was waiting at Carl's house when we pulled in - we hadn't seen her in over a month so we were so happy she was there. She was so excited to see her brother, he let her rock him to sleep that night....so sweet.
Sunday we got up & hung out with Pop-pop for a little while, he just loves his little grandson!
Then we went to Lola & Grandpa's, Nico hung out with Lola for a while - he was all smiles and was happier than I expected him to be. He was such a trooper during the trip, he slept good at night and was pretty happy most of the time no matter who was holding him or honking his nose (Aiden!!).

I got to finally meet my little niece Emma on Sunday, Amie told me that she was a little princess, all smiles and had the cutest hair ever, but I had no idea how adorable she is - way too cute!
Nico also met Uncle Kayd for the first time, he is great with the babies - we celebrated his 18th birthday while we were there, that makes me feel so old!!

We got the babies changed for dinner, if anyone would have told Amie & I a few years ago that we would be changing our babies together in Lola's living room we both would have laughed & told them they were crazy....you just never know what your future holds.
We tried to get a picture of the two of them, but it didn't go as planned....
We headed over to Providence for Grandma Hammond's birthday dinner, what a great time seeing everyone. Nico was able to meet most of the Hammonds for the first time, they all loved him - it doesn't matter how many cousins, nieces, nephew, grandkids there are - every new is so much fun and loved so very much!!
Tuesday we FINALLY met Skyler, he is 12 weeks older than Nico and I couldn't wait to see this little guy...what a little cutey and he has the best personality that I have ever seen in a baby, totally chill and laid back...just like his daddy!
One of my favorite places in the whole world is my parents back porch, even though you can hear the trucks next door & Sara never stops begging you to throw the ball & there is usually a farm animal of some sort wandering around I could sit there all day. My mom redecorated it just for me (at least that is what I think:)) & I loved sitting out there with everyone.
