For Miranda's science class this year she had to make an Rube Goldberg machine. It had to have 4 simple machines, 12 energy tranfers and be able to lauch a ping pong ball 1 meter. It was quite a project. She teamed up with a fellow hockey player, Mo, hence the name.
They worked on it for several weeks, after school and on the weekends. Filipe and the other dad only had to step in when power tools were necessary. They did a really good job. Last night we went the the EMM Science Fair and saw of the the machines on display, the girls got extra credit for dressing the part.
